I am a Mum myself to my beautiful daughter Harriet. She's my everything. Now she is at kindy I have more time to get creative in the kitchen. I own a cafe with my husband in Wanganui. We meet in the UK where I was nannying by day and cheffing by night.
Before I travelled the world I went to Otago University and got a degree BAppSc in Food Science and Human Nutrition. My favourite part of my studies was recreating recipes for special dietary requirements. I have baked since I was 3 years old and it is my passion to create food that puts smiles on peoples faces. I managed public and private hospital food services departments but I prefer being in the kitchen getting my hands dirty.
So now between being a mum, running a cafe I have created my new business (baby) of Lactation Goodies to help support the nursing mother’s milk supply and quality. It is fantastic being able to put my degree to use and create beneficial treats at the same time making sure they taste great too.
